Ox-Bow Summer Residencies
Ox-Bow, School of Art and Artists Residency program is designed for the professional and practicing artist to reside and work in a secluded, natural environment. Applicants may apply for either 1 or 2 week residencies. Artists are selected upon the merit of their work and written statements describing their proposed use of the residency.
Residents are encouraged to present a slide lecture or reading of their work and to participate in the community life at Ox-Bow. Recipients receive a small private studio and room and board. Please note that the classroom studio facilities are not available to ARs.
Artists’ in Residence are required to pay a fee of $510 per week. A limited number of residency scholarships covering a portion of the fee are available. Applicants can indicate their interest in funding on the application. For more information, visit www.ox-bow.org or email sworkn@saic.edu.
