The Tufts University Art Gallery is seeking submissions for site-specific installations that are between 750 and 1,000 sqare feet in size and up to 16 feet tall. Five proposals will be selected that reflect the diversity of approaches and practices of artists, collaborators, or cooperatives working within our communities. A materials stipend of $500 will be awarded to the five chosen projects. Project costs must stay within this budget. Competition is open to artists who either live or have a studio within one of the Tufts Communities: Boston’s Chinatown, Somerville, Grafton, or Medford, Massachussetts.
